Olive oil and Olives
It was founded in 1983 by 149 producers in the Koutsouras area of the prefecture of Lassithi. Its main activity is the production, processing and marketing of agricultural products and in particular fresh (out of season) vegetable products and olive oil. Today, it lists 262 members, who cultivate a total of 4,863 acres of olive trees. 153 of the growers have privately owned greenhouses with 465 acres of vegetables.
